Too important not to watch

Posted on March 30, 2008 - Filed Under Politics

People this is a very hard video to watch, but I think at some level necessary…Now I know many Muslims are not like this..BUT… by passively standing by they have allowed it to happen. The war on terror/Islam is global with almost every country dealing with them at some level. Even the most passive and liberal of them. I am sick of hearing how their feelings are always being hurt. Someone draws a cartoon and 50 people must die…. meanwhile in San Francisco they hold parades of depictions of Christs crucification by drag queens and it’s looked on as nothing more than alternative fun…

Watch this video if you can, it might change your life…and after imagine Barak Obama dealing with these people.

BTW I have endorsed John McCain for president. I/we need someone to pull the trigger on these people if necessary.

Move On??? Yeah right

Posted on September 20, 2007 - Filed Under Iraq war, new york times, Gen. David Petraeus, moveon.org, rebublican, democrat, Liberal, Conservative, election, hillary, Politics

lvcntry.jpgOK so this MoveOn add in the New York times is not moving on, how ironic for them. What I probably need to remind people here is the genesis of move on. It was a group formed back in the Clinton years (I just shuddered as I realized we are still in them) for the sole purpose of trying to get people to ” Move On” past the Clinton scandals. I swear the irony is staggering, I just giggle when I think about it. MoveOn is so much more now being one of the most powerful money making machines for  Democratic candidates. So much has their money generating prowess been successful they can literally dictate democratic policy. The leaders of the two houses frequently have conference calls with them and other influential bloggers. The news here is the power of the blogger ;) and no more so is it evidenced than with the influence yielded within the democratic party. What is problematic here is their point of view is very extreme left. Now to be fair, on the right side, the parallel could be argued for the religious right. They do yield significant power and make up a large number of their base. For MoveOn, however, I don’t think they make up so much of their base and in many ways the extreme fringes spearheaded by MoveOn have hijacked the party. The vast majority of this country is simply not on board with their super progressive philosophy. As this is contrasted and highlighted I believe it will become a significant problem for the democrats, and with the addition of Hillary and all her bull shit it might just be good for republicans regardless of what is happening in Iraq. Obviously this was a gift horse to Republicans and its most certainly fair game for them to pounce on it. The story of course would have gone away quite quickly had the democrats said this add was wrong, BUT as we know they could not and would not. Money baby money. And even with some mild criticism from a few dems, MoveOn simply had/has no intention of backing down. They are that confident of their power. In an instance they can decide Hillary will not be the nomination and she knows it.

This is a quote from an AP story a few days ago.

“Senator Clinton a few months ago voted to confirm Petraeus to be commander of our forces in Iraq; he is a decorated veteran who has served his country honorably for most of his life; he risks his life for our liberty; no one has ever questioned his integrity; and yet Hillary – who wishes to be commander-in-chief of our military forces – calls him a liar without even knowing what he will say and, worse, is too cowardly to condemn the most vile slander by a group of crazy, America-hating thugs.”

My favorite quote over the past week was from Senator Trent Lott about the discount given to move on by the New York times ” They got the friends and family discount” Of course they had to give Rudy one the next day after being called on it, but we all know it was too late.

Our President was given the rare chance today to batter the dems after a question on the add

“And (it’s) one thing to attack me. It’s another thing to attack somebody like Gen. Petraeus,” Bush said.

So before I finish, I would also like to point out another underlining point. A significant portion of the democratic party hates the US military. That is why they spend almost every election trying to convince people otherwise.

Will another group be now formed to move on past the move on?

New York Times Liberal Bias AGAIN!!!

Posted on September 13, 2007 - Filed Under bin laden, Iraq war, new york times, Gen. David Petraeus, moveon.org, rebublican, democrat, Liberal, Conservative, election, hillary, Politics

petraeusnytad.jpg

So we all (should) know of the the NYT liberal bias. But in this instance I have to admit the brazen audacity to so flaunt it with seemingly no fear of being called on it, is at some level an impressive display of confidence and also extremely troubling sign of the times… no pun intended :) RecentlyGen. David Petraeus gave testomony in our nations capital. The usual pundits and Senetors began there assult on this man weeks before his report, mainly because they had to begin to undermine his credability because there was actually going to be some positive news among all that mess in Iraq. The SAD SAD truth in this country is bad news is good for Democrats and good news is good for Republicans, so the liberals have to blunt the good news to forward their agenda. With that premise do we even have a chance of winning? Gen. David Petraeus, a 20+ year veteran of service to our country and the leader of over 160,000 troops in harms way doing their duty without complaint. Who depend on this man to lead them and keep them safe as possible, and to come home after the job is done. Democrats and liberals who have riped at this guy who is doing his job whether it is for Bush, or for the next president, I will say it again “It’s FUCKING TREASON” I am sooo mad at the lack of respect and patriotism and common decency showed to this man by the power hungry, socialist progressives in this country…..

I almost forgot my point, ah yes …..Now I did not fault the NYT for running the add above by moveon.org , but when I read this, well….the Nypost reported today that “The New York Times dramatically slashed its normal rates for a full-page advertisement for MoveOn.org’s ad questioning the integrity of Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq.”

We are fighting a war on two fronts people. We are fighting the enemy both foreign and domestic.

On a side note, did you see/read the latest Bin laden video?

Basically he told the Democrats that they are not trying hard enough to undermine the war in Iraq. So you got you marching orders..get to it, you are half way there.

The Clinton Machine certainly has contacts in the media.

To be able to debate the other side one must read their material  frequently. As I recently browsed the LA times, I surprisingly came across this article decribing how last years program “The Path to 9/11″ (which I missed and was before I had DVR) apparently will not be released on DVD, for reasons unknown. It was a controversial program, that was I believe overall critical of the Clinton white house. As I have said before this threat was planted and bloomed during his junta and of course GW was left to deal with the consequences merely 8 months into his presidency.  The rest as we know is still history being written. So the point of the article I gathered was that the powers to be were making sure it was not released  because it could be detrimental  to the Clinton candidacy. Powerful forces are at work people greasing this machine. My favorite quote is “also one of the miniseries’ many producers, said he was told by a top executive at ABC Studios that “if Hillary weren’t running for president, this wouldn’t be a problem.”

Bin Laden to Speak to the Americans–Maybe

So I would assume that if you take the time to read blogs, you are also reading the news. A big topic right now is the report of a video from Bin laden being imminent. Maybe, or it’s possibly some old stuff put together, or the usual vague references so it’s hard to date. Whatever it will be, its the same message of “I am ok and in charge” to his minions, and to America if only you would vote democrat so I can get out of this hole and we will leave you alone…kinda . Some of you may find that statement scandalous, but there is a lot of truth to it and I will tell you why. Now if Joe Liberman was elected as president, then it certainly would be a false statement. But if Hillary were elected or some other equally minded liberal, that would be just fine for them. Now its not like they wouldn’t do anything given the chance, but my point is the threshold will be much higher to act. So much so that I believe another terror organization such as Al Qeada will be allowed to manifest and worse still Iran given wore room to wiggle. Democrats are and have almost exclusively  been more of a focus on domestic policy entity.  Dealing with international issues, foreign and domestic enemies are for the most part a big problem for them. In short they just don’t have the philosophy and the party has way too much of a pacifist element in their ranks that projecting power in just not an easy thing. So when you have a democrat, foreign  policy becomes reactive instead of proactive. Bill Clinton was reactive when it came to Bin Laden and Al Qeada after a number of attacks against America, and Bush for better or worse has certainly been proactive. And that my friends lies the dilemma for the rouge elements in the world.  They know  democrats will just be that much more reluctant to hunt them down to  the ends of the earth, less likely to do anything with out UN approval( which means almost nothing will happen). Under that climate they can breath just that little bit easier. They just know there is no way Hillary or the like will put on a cowboy hat and say “bring it”

I state again, the terrorists and the rouge countries of the world  would rather see the democrats in power simply because it will be easier to be who they are. It’s just the way it is.

So anyway the Bin  Laden video… I have another prediction: As in line with Fidel Castro (and I think Chavez) Bin laden is going to endorse the Clinto Obama ticket. Now he won’t say it outright, but that is what he will be saying.., Let’s see

No Shame in Their game

I usually like to keep up with the news from back home in Ireland, provides me a “change of gears” as it where from the American political scene. But today there was just no getting away from it. I came across this article about Bill Clinton going to Ireland in an effort to fund raise for Hillary’s campaign. Can you believe that???? Honestly the Clinton’s are amoral and ruthless, and absolutely more willing that most sleazy politicians to take sleeze to the next level. The one good aspect of this story is that money might be getting tight back home. I suppose this is a cleaner money option than when Bill ran. Remember when the Chinese military were trying to contribute to his campaign ??(A link to refresh you HERE A very good read) It’s a very risky endeavor, and there are actually some liberals that might even have a problem with that. I must dig up all the details again, it is amazing how blind the flock are to these people.

Anyway enjoy Here is the Irish paper article—> Here

I was having a quiet couple of weeks and now I am all fired up. :)

Democrats discussing how to characterize the troop surge as a failure.

Posted on August 23, 2007 - Filed Under rebublican, Iraq war, troop surge, democrat, hillary, Liberal, Conservative, Politics

democrats_traitors.jpgPeople it does not get any more unpatriotic than this. I swear this is on the the road to treason. As reported in the media

WASHINGTON — Congressional Democratic leaders are aggressively strategizing a new offensive against the Bush administration’s management of the Iraq war as more and more anti-war lawmakers publicly acknowledge successes ahead of a key White House progress report.

Aware of the trouble Iraqi progress could mean for Democrats at home — House Whip James Clyburn recently said if the surge were successful, it would be “a real problem for us” — a revised set of talking points is being worked up by Democrats that declares the escalation of troops in Iraq has not been successful despite White House claims otherwise.

Hillary, being the shrewd person she is infamous for is back tracking and hedging her bets. Lets be real here a success in Iraq is a disaster for the democrats. Like it or not the reality is they have a vested interest in America failing period. Think about that concept for a second, for democrats to gain and maintain power America must fail. The democrats are simply as I have repeatably said aiding and abetting our enemies both foreign and domestic. There is leadership for ya.

Bush invokes It’s a Blog Days political analysis.

Posted on August 22, 2007 - Filed Under democrat, rebublican, Iraq war, hillary, election, Liberal, Conservative, Politics

Well I am sure he did not LOL but I am glad the subject is getting more public attention. I mentioned it HERE and HERE.
It seems that George Bush has been reading It’s a Blog Day ;) Hopefully he will begin to more forcefully hold the democrats feet to the fire regarding their overtly simplistic solution of just withdrawing from Iraq. They honestly don’t have any realistic plan to deal with the situation, and literally thousands of lives are at stake here. AGAIN, even if you don’t agree with the genesis of this war, it will do us no good to loose. For anyone to play politics with this topic is utterly disgraceful. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have surrendered America before the game is over. Surprisingly, or not, Hillary in anticipation of a possible presidential win is hinting at “alternative’ roles for the US military in Iraq. In code this means she realizes that we can’t just walk out, but has to make her base think she will. There will be a blog to follow about the democrats subtle hints at actually taking a different approach. In short they don’t have the balls to stand up and tell the truth of what they believe and would rather focus on accumulating power. Can the nation not see this??
A small excerpt is below and the full post is here
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (CNN) — President Bush drew parallels between the aftermath of the Vietnam War and the potential costs of pulling out of Iraq in a speech Wednesday.

Three decades later, there is a legitimate debate about how we got into the Vietnam War and how we left,” Bush told members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, at their convention in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Whatever your position in that debate, one unmistakable legacy of Vietnam is that the price of America’s withdrawal was paid by millions of innocent citizens, whose agonies would add to our vocabulary new terms like ‘boat people,’ ‘re-education camps’ and ‘killing fields,’ ” the president said.

Limousine Liberal in San Francisco

Posted on August 17, 2007 - Filed Under Conservative, Liberal, Politics

A few weeks ago I traveled to San Francisco for a wedding on my girlfriend’s side of the family. Y0u can read all about itLimo Liberal here if you wish but I have some alternative observations to make of my own :). We were fortunate enough to stay at the grand Hyatt hotel just off Union Square for free due to Elsa getting award points with some time share thingy that I am still trying to figure out. But anyway, it was a very lovely comfortable room that even had a TV in the bathroom in addition to six plush pillows which adorned the king size bed, well you get the gist. Guess what else exuded luxury? The union square area is home to a smörgåsbord of high end stores that I usually only see in Vegas. For someone with a healthy bank account (or not) it’s a place that certainly makes la Jolla look very amateurish. What struck me during this visit to SF was the display of such wealth and success from the city that prides itself on liberal consciousness. A bell weather as you like to what America should be like, the beacon of compassion and social and environmental responsibility. I have to say I was just shocked (well not really amused more like it) at the display of excess. All the best stores that many at one time where to be found in San Diego. But being the poorer conservative big city of California, we really could not afford those luxury excess of life and the elite stores soon left town. Of the many cities I have visited in my life, San Francisco is one that stands as an example of such obvious haves and haves not. Now you might be surprised to know that I was born and spent the first 4 years of my life is SF. I do love the city, but I just can’t help notice the hypocrite’s with a grin from ear to ear every time I visit. It seems that the liberal bastion’s in America just seem to be the hardest place for the middle class to survive. San Francisco has the very wealthy and some very poor. It’s easier to be poor in San fran than middle class. I imagine when you are wealthy in San Francisco there comes with that a certain amount of guilt, and hence to feel better you have some poor people around just to make you feel like you care. So many liberals think of SF as a liberal utopia, can you imagine??? Being liberal means guilt free wealth I suppose.
